A designer and a builder who got tired of handing projects back and forth, and started Brightwork in 2018 to do both as one team.
Priya Lund
Designer & co-founder
Priya spent nine years designing kitchens and baths for a Minneapolis architecture firm before starting Brightwork with Sam in 2018. She is the one who will ask how you load the dishwasher and where the backpacks land after school, because that is what a layout should solve.
She leads every consult, draws every plan and builds the 3D model you approve. During construction she is on site for each finish decision, from grout color to where the pendants hang.

Sam Okafor
Builder & co-founder
Sam has been building in Minneapolis for sixteen years, the last ten running his own crews. Older houses are his specialty: out-of-level floors, plaster walls and the surprises behind them.
He prices every project from the final design, pulls the permits and runs the job day to day. If you have a question on site, he is the person who answers it.
